URGENT: Special Meeting called on 6/18!
The Unit A Negotiations Committee has reached a one-year agreement on a contract for the 2018-2019 school year. On Monday morning, June 18, 2018, there will be an urgent special meeting held at each school. Please attend to receive a copy of the Memorandum of Agreement stipulating the changes for the potential contract. A representative from the Negotiations Committee will explain the Memorandum and answer any questions you may have. The ratification vote will take place before and after school on Thursday, June 21, 2018.

2018 Elections
The elections are coming! Elections will be held before and after school (at each school) on Thursday, May 24, 2018.
If you are interested in running for an open position as a CTA officer or as a member of a committee, please email Justin Martin at cantonteacherssecretary@gmail.com to get your name on to the ballot. The deadline to submit your name as a candidate is Friday, May 18, 2018. The candidates are not assumed, so you must declare your intentions to run. The positions, with a description of each, are listed below.
Positions & Job Descriptions with StipendsMTA Delegates elect new leadership
Merrie Najimy, a Concord kindergarten teacher and former president of the Concord Teachers Association, was elected to be the next president of the Massachusetts Teachers Association today at the association’s 173rd Annual Meeting of Delegates.
Max Page, a professor of architecture at UMass Amherst and former president of the Massachusetts Society of Professors, was elected to serve as MTA Vice President.
