Many of us have been wondering where our salary letter is from the town. Typically, we receive this letter with information about our step, lane, longevity, stipend, and/or salary in August BEFORE school begins.
These letters are on their way! Hopefully in our hands before the end of next week. So sit tight, they will be arriving shortly.
Members please fill out this quick form to update our database with your contact info so we can keep you informed! bit.ly/2w2q2Yv
Welcome to Canton!
We are the Canton Teachers Association and we look forward to working with you this year! This is the place you will find every piece of information about our local union. There are several ways to stay up-to-date with the happenings in the CTA, use any or all that you feel comfortable with.
Of course if anything ever comes up and you need a question answered or a little guidance, contact a member of the CTA whether its a member of leadership, a building representative, or just a colleague. We are all here for you via email, phone, or face-to-face conversations.
Please consider joining us for some phone banking to #saveourpublicschools !cta
The CTA is joining all other locals in Massachusetts to do what we can to get the word out to defeat Question 2 – lifting the cap on Charter Schools – in November. To this end, the CTA will be hosting a phone bank here in Canton, location TBA, after school. I need as many members as possible to man these phones. You will be reading a script and calling from a list in front of you. The MTA supplies the phones! The CTA will provide a meal and if the location should serve beverages, this may well turn into our first CTA social event. Details will be forthcoming BUT I need each of you to contact your Executive Council members to give them an approximate RSVP so we know the capacity of a room required.
Please use the link below to tell us which days you can commit to, and we’ll go with the popular vote.
