CEA Scholarship
2025-2026 Scholarship Information
The Canton Educators Association (CEA) is proud to support members and their graduating high school seniors in pursuit of higher education by offering scholarship(s) to members’ children. Scholarships are funded solely through contributions made by CEA members. The deadline to be considered for this scholarship is May 22, 2026.
Students interested in applying for the CEA Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
- Students must be a child of a current CEA member
- Students must be a graduating high school senior and provide the CEA Scholarship Committee with a copy of their high school transcript
- Student must be planning to attend a post-secondary educational institution or be enlisting in the armed services
Please note:
- Eligible candidates shall receive a portion of the Scholarship Fund determined by the number of total applicants
- A letter will be sent to scholarship recipients after completed applications are received and reviewed by the CEA Scholarship committee members
- Scholarships will be awarded before the first semester of freshman year.
Application deadline is May 22, 2026.
CEA Future Educator Scholarship
2025-2026 Scholarship Information
The Canton Educators Association (CEA) is pleased to support future educators by offering a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating Canton High School senior planning to pursue a college education in an education-related field. Applicants must complete and return an application by the due date determined by the Canton High School Guidance Department and must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a graduating Canton High School senior
- Plan to pursue a major or program of study in an education-related field in college
- Provide a current high school transcript
- Complete and attach essay (approximately 500 words)
- Submit a letter of recommendation
